"Attempt to get an MFT record with an old reference" for Win 2000 server NTFS

I'm facing to "Attempt to get an MFT record with an old reference" problematic, when root folder (c:\) is browsed. NTFS disks are formatted using Windows 2000 server. With all other Microsoft operation systems NTFS disks are browsed without any problem, only disks created with Win200server suffer of this issue.

Any idea why?

NTFS has evolved over time, so there's probably some 'unique' things about W2K's version of NTFS compared to what I've seen.  Can you create a small disk, formatted using W2K and post it?

I can take a look at what might be causing the problem.

I have moved this discussion to "Issue Traker", in order to be able to add virtual disk as attachment.
