Issue with file names contaning backslash on ext3 volume

Apr 16, 2012 at 9:13 AM

I've found an issue when reading ext3 volume with DiscUtils. If there is a file with name containing backslash (which is technically legal on ext3) then library have issues handling it. After conversion of Linux path delimiters ('/') to Windows style ('\') that backslash becomes path delimiter too instead of being part of the file name as it should be.

There are no exceptions when volume is opened. Problems begin when you try to access properties of problematic file (e.g. read attributes). Then 'File not found' exception pops up.
