.NET 4 Compatibility

Apr 20, 2015 at 3:22 PM

I've been working around DiscUtils for a project requiring .NET 4.

I managed to build it using .NET 4 as a target by moving a few references to Tuple.First and Tuple.Second to Tuple.Item1 and Tuple.Item2 as per the newer API.

However, while using Iso9660's CDReader, I'm always getting an empty output from GetDirectories, GetFiles, or GetFileSystemEntries.

So, is discutils intended to work on .NET 4? Could somebody please give me some hints on why am I getting empty listings from the above methods?

.NET 2.0 libraries should work in the .NET 4 runtime. Easiest thing is to keep DiscUtils as a separate assembly, and set DiscUtils the project settings to compile as .NET 2.

In the past other people have asked to keep the code able to compile and run on .NET 2, so it works on the widest range of systems.
